Hi. Here's an interesting excerpt about women's roles and Pertelote's in the Nun's Priest's Tale and Prologue. It's a GoogleBookResults book called "Feminizing Chaucer". It's interesting and helps understand the Pertelote/Chaunticleer dynamic.
